Cardinals pitcher Daniel Poncedeleon made his Major League debut and pitched 7.0 NO-HIT innings, striking out three in a masterpiece performance. Poncedeleon was lifted after 116 pitches while still throwing a combined no-hitter. The Reds broke up the no-hitter late and staged a thrilling 9th-inning comeback, winning 2-1 on a walk-off hit by Dilson Herrera after a game-tying home run by Eugenio Suárez.
