These envelopes provide substantial protection against bending, tearing, & scratching. They are far sturdier than your standard white paper envelope. Cards will be shipped in a penny sleeve & top loader. I also place an easily removeable sticker over the sleeve opening, to ensure they do not slide out of the during transit. Lastly, I place a ‘DO NOT BEND’ sticker on the envelope to ensure that it is hand sorted as opposed to going through the USPS machine sorting process. Base cards are typically stock images though. Please reach out with any condition questions you may have. Photos were either taken in a light box, or scanned into a database via a high-end scanner that does not damage the cards in any way. SCAN LINES: In certain circumstances – specifically with Chromium type cards – you may see what looks to be scratches on the surface of the card. 99% of the time this is just a result of the scanner catching reflections during the scanning process.
