Mickey Lolich signed this overall 8 x 10 sheet is copied on heavy stock paper to last for years & years. It comes with a JSA COA guaranteeing the autograph's authenticity. This comic strip is the only one I find that celebrates Mickey Lolich who really carried the Tigers to a World Series win by winning 3 of the 4 games, hitting his only major league home run, and sparked a key rally with one of his several hits in this series. Overshadowed by Denny McLain's 31 win season, this understated star really shined during this Series. A great companion to my other "Dick Mayer's World Series" two sheets that feature the ups & downs and thrilling comeback of the 1968 World Champs. A historic look of the '68 team not to be forgotten. The fragile original was almost lost, but saved to capture this important piece of Detroit Tiger's history. The Mickey Lolich comic is dated Oct 11, 1968.
